This is a call to action. Ban Out of The FOG. outofthefog.net/forum/index.php, at least for a day or week. We, the members, have to take the site back and make a stand. Don't go there anymore and PM as many posters as you can but keep it on the down low. Tell them why,..... my reason is "You cannot question a moderator", which is the silliest, most ass backwards reason I ever heard. They have turned most of the posters away with their actions. I find it so awful because it really was a great place to go. But because of the mods, the site is now nothing compared to what it used to be and there is one main reason, that reason is the moderators who think they are more important than what they are have destroyed that site and made it just a place for them to feel important and impose their rules so they can feel good. If it wasn't and I'm all wrong, than why has almost every senior member left? Why did I get 6 PM's saying "yeah I got warned for saying _____ (< some silly reason that people are really confused and angered by.) So I call on all of you to spread the word and let's ban Out of the Fog, and list our reasons and maybe just make a difference. |

Yeah...got a warning as well. "Momster" I don't even use that word, must be something about pedophiles that irritates me and I get colorful and...Oh NO...another bloody warning with NO link to anything specific. It's the mind reading game all over again.

Sorry folks but I have to vent about OOTF!!! I didn't get banned or get a warning but this is what was posted on a thread I was participating in. Many of the post were mine and there was NO talk of violence and NEVER any name calling so I have no idea what the hell this idiot mod is talking about!! I'm going to post a rebuttal ON the thread in hopes I get banned! That's just plain wrong, wrong, wrong to delete anything someone has posted regardless of if it has strayed off topic or not. I very clearly recall a thread specifically about threads being "hijacked" and Gary said the ORIGINAL POSTER is responsible for keeping it on topic and if they don't then so be it. This seriously pisses me off because I don't comment on threads just for the sake of seeing my name show up. Who is anyone to say that something that has been posted is NOT a form of dealing, validating, healing and support? Mods are not Gods but some seriously have a freaking God complex!!! Other than BLATANT cruelty and bullying NO ONE has the right to delete another persons posts. Guidelines be damned because they are just that GUIDELINES, NOT LAW!!! OOTF is sadly lame anyway. No one is allowed to truly express their feelings the way they need to because OMG someone might get offended! Tough shit in my opinion because LIFE IS OFFENSIVE at times! Sorry folks I'm just seriously friggin' pissed!

F_ck OOTF, all the new Mods ruined it. They all think they matter in the real world when they don't. Gary is a good guy but the rest are wanna be important people who have built up in their minds that somehow the matter.
let's just go ahead and PM (personal message) everyone we know and ban the site.
Every single member needs to post the same post over and over (10x) in every category and then "go dark", this way there are 300+ posts about the mods and they'll never have enough time to delete them.
That's how we do it. One night, and we show them we mean business.

It's as if the Mods are deciding what you are allowed to think and feel, how to think and feel it and then they might as well right our damn posts for us as well. It's beyond ludicrous!
I have been banned again..so getting the word out is a tad tricky. They are all waiting like hawks to see if I surface. Wonder how many others they are banning at the same time with the usual lack of forethought.

OMG how funny you say that about what we think and feel because this is what I just posted.
Gary once said in regards to "thread hijacking" that the OP has the responsibility of keeping the thread on topic and if they don't then so be it. Conversations evolve and rarely stay on the original subject. If someone wants to bring it back around to the original subject then they will but to expect us to not be human and veer off the original subject is expecting us to be void of feelings and opinions. I don't judge anyone for the way they feel or choose to express themselves as long as they aren't being hateful about it. It appears to me that there is way to much judgment going on here so I'll be seeking out a place where I am free to express myself as I feel I need to and not be censored because someone else cannot accept me as I am. I don't feel comfortable here any longer with what I see going on all in the name of "moderating". I have seen members being singled out, targeted and banned for saying things that MANY people have said before and since. Other than blatant cruelty or bullying NO ONE has the right to decide what is therapeutic to the one posting. Seems to me that some mods have a God complex here so I won't be back.

It is a form of bullying over there. Rules are way too fluffy wrt "name calling" and violent ideations? Hellooooo...pummeling a pedophile? Or to stand up for yourself when some one is attacking you? What are they thinking? It's hollywood? Even we have the "magic cell phone" trying calling the police when it's being crushed in your hand or thrown at the wall. They live on another flipping planet.
Yep...but discuss via PM, the mods know about this board...so does Gary. It's the same way OOTF started up.

Like it or not, some of those methods are quite useful.  I don't like seeing people being hamstrung by Laws that basically re victimize the victims and there are legal ways around it anyways. |

Exactly. I joined that forum to get information on what I am dealing with and to connect with others who are in the same boat not become a victim to others with PD like traits of control and bullying.

It was doing pretty good about a year ago, I joined there in April. But in the last couple months? Went straight down the toilet. Banning CGisNutz for what? Just mind boggling.
One time, I posted a PD song / poem, kind of a real rip, one of the Old Mods PM'd ,me and thanked me for being clear cut with it. Then...I was banned by someone else?? Just bizarre.
Doesn't matter. Clearly someone there is power tripping. Unber Co Dep mode is on over there. CONTROL. So...whatever. Do our own thinking and emoting and I have yet to see a problem with it. So people are angry? They have a right to be angry about crap that has happened. TO be told NOT to be angry and upset or feel hurt? What planet of denial are they on?
How many are being drugged up so that they can deal with the PD in their lives? How much sense does that ultimately make? Am I wrong? Let me know if I am...cuz it sure seems flipping weird to me.
Yup..and I can trace that special treatment back to a post about Alcohol. A particular Mod used that as an excuse for a sexual encounter with a fellow who was pushy, and then called it Rape. Where as, I can not really see that as such a great excuse and pretty much stated that from my experience. Since that time...I got extra "special" treatment.
