TO USE ALT CODES IN WINDOWS HOLD DOWN THE ALT BUTTON ON YOUR KEYBOARD (FOUND ON EITHER SIDE OF THE SPACE BAR) WHILE TYPING IN THE NUMERIC CODE FOR THE SYMBOL YOU WANT TO CREATE. ONCE YOU HAVE TYPED THE NUMBERS RELEASE THE ALT KEY AND THE SYMBOL SHOULD APPEAR. LIKE THIS ♠
