Hi Everyone, I was invited here from OOTF. I'm married to a dxBP/BPD+ (the plus is my dx and I will explain later). I have been married to my PD for almost 19 years and I am now making plans to leave and divorce him. We have no children thank God but leaving is still difficult not only emotionally but financially and physically as well. I have no fear whatsoever of my H and I have been told by some that I am in a scary place because he has been and still does become violent at times. I respectfully disagree but more about that later.
I am an animal lover, my taste in music is eclectic and my personal style is laid back and comfy. I'm a quiet observer, I pick up on emotions very easily and it can sometimes be a curse. I have a propensity to attract wounded people and I have an overwhelming urge to fix them. I am making great progress on stepping back and letting them pick themselves up. It was difficult at first but with time and practice I have gotten the hang of it. I'm here to connect with others who have a PD in their life and to vent when I need to or just get some clarification of how I am feeling.
That's about all there is to me. Glad to be here.
