Maremma I'm sorry to hear that you feel unwelcomed there but I get where you are comin from. Frankly if there are some on there that made you feel that way it is a loss to the forum your not bein there. I felt the same way when Solarflare left that time not to long ago. There are some good people on there with good advice but you and Solarflare to me had the most insightful and were really there for the folks. Thank God was able to reconnect with you guys. I still visit that forum but I don't post as much as I did. Feel like I have to be very causious as to what tone I use when I post. Seemed like some post I made were regularly bein taken down. I like callin a jerk a jerk and when I was incredibly angry at the time or goin through that anger stage I guess I did use a little stronger language. But anyway I am so glad can still connect with you and Solarflare.
DRAMA. I hate it to. I lived in so much drama before it literally makes me sick to be anywhere near it now. MANIPULATION. Same thing..... seems like I spot it everywhere now. I hate it with a passion. I feel a knot in my stomach and anger starts to build in me. I tend to watch how I react to it with people I really don't know but when one of my daughters mentions somethin goin on in their relationship with husband or boyfriend I tell them they really need to take a good look and perhaps read one of the books I have been readin lately. They have had crappy relationships to and at times still experience this BS in their current relationship. We just learned that my youngest daughter just married a liein, cheatin manipulator as well. Neither me nor my girls trust him in anyway. He has lied to all three of us using great detail and cryin as well. We are on high alert at this point. Seems we all three have experienced this same man over and over. So sick of it all.

It's a shame that OOTF was taken over by those Mods.
I think Gary is no longer running the show. The Mods now have a rule "You cannot question actions or decisions by a Mod"
That is craaaaazy to me, because they are not doctors.
Here is part of her message:
As an admin on this site, consider this my official warning. I am going to lock the thread; share all of this info with the rest of the mod/admin team; and we will make a collective decision. I am by upset to see your blatant refusal to accept moderation.

Well that is just lovely huh? What in the world did you say that was so awful for Pete's sake?
Truly that site is strictly for people that want to STAY "trapped" in those sick relationships. The only "support" that seems acceptable there is how to KEEP tolerating all the abuse and not kill yourself from the self loathing it creates in oneself for continuing to allow someone to abuse you on that many levels for the entirety of your life.

maremma67wow, I thought the same thing. A few times I was told that I was too forward. More posts = more money. The subject was Natural Family Planning and the Catholic Church. The poster, Unicorn I believe, (she is on here, yes?) had brought up that subject. I had stated in a post a few things being that I am Catholic. I then stated FACTUAL information that the Obama admin had made Catholic institutions offer birth control, against the wishes of those organizations. As a Catholic, this was a big issue. I just stated facts, nothing against Obama, or nothing not factual. It was not political and it related to issues Catholics face. 2bad took it down 4x and sent me a hidden message (did not see new message alert). I got angry because it went against no rules. I told her it her actions were unacceptable and I would continue to speak my mind as it was not against any guidelines. She wrote back that line about my refusal to be moderated and because I told her I'd contact Gary and report her, she got even more mad. She told me because I spoke my mind against Mods, I would be banned. Crazy huh? How there can be a rule against not questioning Mods? The issue at hand was something that was relevant, but obviously against her views. I have no problem with whatever views she has, I just have a problem with them having the ability to delete free speech that they don't agree with. I also have a BIG PROBLEM with the new rule that you have to agree and cannot question a Mod. I have a BIGGER PROBLEM with being suspended for talking back to a Mod.

unicorn. It's not you, it's the Mods. It's a joke, You should have read what I wrote her, I told her the Mods are a problem and it's unacceptable. Can't believe I was banned for speaking my mind respectfully too. That's insane.

Agree...it's gone way whack on OOTF. Here is us and others that don't fit the codependent profile that seems to be the "fit" . I also got banned from Shrink4men, no warning. Had very interesting conversations and BOOM...I think they read the PM's there. Another fellow, no reason I could figure out, also Banned. He had great stuff up there. Don't know what the real deal is. But...always have an escape route planned out..so here we are.
