Post PD relationship with kids is a mine field. Always as usual twisting reality into insane logic.
They use their f_cked logic with the kids as a shield.
She says: "If you don't give me ______ you will hurt the kids."
They still want to take from you, to lessen their burden and twist it, as you are hurting the kids if you don't let them off easy.
What is rightfully yours they want, and if it was opposite they'd expect it and not think twice demanding it.
So as a decent person who always has put the kids first, you struggle with a decision. Even putting yourself in a bad spot.
Knowing if they don't get it they'll hurt the kids.
For example your PD could have 5 of your cars and demand your 6th car, even though the PD can drive 5 of your cars,
and tell you the kids love that car and how f'd up you are, even though you'd be stuck with no car to drive around in.
Obviously that's a stretch, but a good example of how they think.
So what do you do?
It comes down to either giving in for the mental well-being of the kids or putting yourself in a huge disadvantage.
You can ease your pain and say karma will get them, and it will, but you then have to struggle more, in order to protect the children.
They honestly kick you when your down, jab the knife in your side, and look you in the eye, play innocent and ask you to help them.
Then jab you again when your not looking.
Don't kid yourself, they tell the kids stuff any expert will say not to. They only care about themselves.
If you don't give them what they want, and more, they'll throw the kids in front of the bus.
They are disgusting, selfish, greedy, entitled slobs.
