Okay, I get accused of being mean A LOT. In fact it is something I have been accused of all of my life mainly by my mother and my m-i-l. Others in my family have said that I just have a no bullshit outlook on life and don't take shit from anybody. Tell me what y'all think and please be honest, I don't offend easily if at all. This is a very recent "debate" I had with some ppl on Facebook (I know, as if anyone's opinion on FB actually matters lol) please tell me if I was just being mean.
Eleanor Rigby So how much did that cost cause I want to know how much money is being wasted when they miss.

Eleanor Rigby Police chases happen for all kinds of reasons, murder, drugs even stupid shit like a suspended license. In my opinion chases are too dangerous and are not a justifiable means to an end.

Carlos A. Osuna For all those that mentions otherwise... $500 is very cheap compared with the life cost of a high speed car chase... once one bullet hits, you can lower the speed and just let a helicopter or several cops on the other side get the burglar... in the end, you just deduct the cost involved towards the cost recovered and I think you can break even most of the time...

Megan Sweetness This isn't for 'speeders' it's for car chases- where there is real risk of life, usually civilians in the way of the chase. The price is high, but it's new technology, so it's not being mass produced yet. the price will go down. In the meantime, if it saves lives then it's a win. They should charge the fee to whomever they were chasing though as part of his fines.

Eleanor Rigby And if they miss? That's now $1000 or more depending how many times they miss. And if they run out of those "bullets"? What then? Keep chasing? At whose expense? And with whose lives?
