Just thought I'd share part of a conversation I had with someone.
When talking about kids, they had mentioned something I suspected, that what's important to a child is the same as what's important to you. So that story, drawing, game, book or plan is as important to them as the book, project or idea your working on. Just as your project is to you, it's the same for them.
I chucked because my wife never displays my daughters projects or keeps much. She probably thinks it as kid stuff. I try to hang everyday pictures up, sketches, projects, etc., and keep almost everything from school, making it a point to pick out a special binder, or go to the craft store for a folder.
It's easy to forget that because they do so much stuff, and it's easy to think it doesn't matter to them, but it really does. To them, they feel it "may change the world".

Good thought. And it does matter to the grown kids to see that mom and dad still have those hand impressions that were made when I was 5 years old.. lol. Displaying your daughter's art work, she sees it for the first while and is proud, and then forgets about it with the next project that comes in. A Brag Wall is a good thing for you to create for her.
Just might, even if only the way they choose to perceive it.
